Riferimento a Roma per triestini e goriziani
Nella capitale è attiva l’Associazione Triestini e Goriziani in Roma, nata nel 1966 per iniziativa del chirurgo di fama internazionale Pietro Valdoni e del Cav. di Gran Croce Aldo Clemente che tanto si era adoperato nell’Opera di assistenza ai profughi giuliani e dalmati e, successivamente, nell’Associazione per lo studio del problema mondiale dei rifugiati, organo consultivo delle Nazioni Unite. Alla instancabile attività di quest’ultimo si deve la costruzione del quartiere giuliano-dalmata all’EUR, la fondazione di istituti per l’educazione dei figli dei profughi, nonché di case di accoglienza per anziani.
Tra gli ultimi appuntamenti promossi la proiezione del docu-film "Triestini di Roma-Personaggi che hanno vissuto e lavorato nella Capitale del '900", organizzata a Roma e Trieste e l' incontro annuale dell'Associazione sulla terrazza delle Assicurazioni Generali a Roma al quale ha partecipato il sindaco di Gorizia Rodolfo Ziberna.

The Triestini e Goriziani Association in Rome is active in the capital city.
